putt-putt, a pony, paddle boats, & new anglers

Years ago, Gramm & Popps got into a timeshare in Cleveland GA. It’s a little condo and there’s all sorts of things to do on the grounds – not to mentionthat Helen is just a few miles away. We hadn’t been there in quite a while and not much has changed (a bit sad to say, really) but being there brought back some fun memories. Most of the fam had gone up on Fri night of last week and I ventured up there Saturday with niece Kelsey in tow. First on the agenda was tubing in Helen. The kids had a blast and I, unfortunately, have no photos of it (I was not willing to risk taking the nikon on the river). But there were plenty of other things to do that I was able to capture.

When we were younger, we would pretty much do one or 2 of these activities per day but with 3 very active preschoolers we knocked them out in less than 24 hours! Here is a little glimpse of the weekend…

Great shots. Looks like everyone had fun. My mom used to take us down to the river to go fishing, but she always neglected to put a hook on the line (which was fine with me, I wasn’t going to eat a fish, let alone touch it).
