I’ve been doing a couch to 5K in 8 weeks program with my sister this summer. It’s been challenging to say the least because I have never been a runner (nor did I ever think I would be!) We’re about halfway through the program and it seems like each increment is not quite as bad as the previous day (watch, I say this and the next day will kick my tail). Any-hoo, I’ve gotten in the habit of downing a glass of chocolate milk when I get home. It just hits the spot and, as it turns out, actually does a body good after a workout. Any excuse to add chocolate to my diet is OK by me.
